This
30 foot long box car was built in 1913 prior to World War
1. It is one of a few remaining outside braced wooden box
cars. This car had been lined with steel for durability and
not only carried freight but in earlier years used to deliver
automobiles. It was later modified to be used as a rail maintenance
car.
